The campaigners against Argyll Ferries passenger boats – in reality against one of the two boats – has led to them being locally dubbed ‘the bathtubs’.
We’ve just seen the photos of the protesters outside the overdecorated parliament building with – guess what? Yes. A bathtub done up to look like an Argyll Ferries boat. And it does look for all the world very like the MV Ali Cat.
It also looks like an enamel bathtub, so the logistics of getting that to Edinburgh and manhandling it about the place there will have be no light matter – but the lightness of touch was wonderful fun. Nice one.
